This site is dedicated to our childhood; to the children we were and the strong bonds we forged in the challenges and excitement of a new beginning. We were the first graduating class of Clairemont High School; Editor's Note:It is my great pleasure to host this website for you and our alumni association. So, if you have suggestions or requests, new information about classmates we haven't heard from in awhile, or a message or photo you'd like to share with everyone, please feel free to contact me by email. Just click on the mailbox at the bottom of the page. If you would like to start a "Family Album" section with photos of your wedding day, a current portrait or snapshot of your family, or a photo of a significant event in your life, please let me know. I, for one, would love to see those pictures. Maybe your other classmates would too. Your (former) Arrow Editor, |

we chose the bold colors of Royal Blue and Burnt Orange, the school nickname, The Chieftains, and our classmate, Arlo Larson, created the school mascot, Charlie Chieftain. We started a newspaper and gave it a name, The Arrow; we were the "tradition makers".We came together from diverse communities to forge a new community with a vibrant spirit that has held together for 50 years. It delights us still, with the sheer pleasure and pride in rediscovering what our classmates have done through the years with all the talent, intelligence, and zest for life that shone so brightly in 1960.We have lived through interesting times that have altered our world view and made us stronger (maybe even wiser if we were lucky and paying attention). Certainly, the years have deepened and enriched our lives with the experiences and adventures of family, career successes and failures, and personal triumphs as well as tragedies.
