Mike Hoyt

Mike Hoyt's sister, Patricia L. (Pat) Hoyt May, (CHS - Class of '61) writes about her brother:

After high school Mike was in the Air Force, stationed in New Mexico most of the time. He married and worked for CAL TRANS as a Supervisor. He and his wife, Karen, had a daughter and son and lived in Merced and Stockton, CA. Later, they divorced and Mike moved back to San Diego in 1990. He died in 1994 after a brief illness. He didn't live to see his three granddaughters (2, 3 & 4 years old). He enjoyed high shool and the reunions (including mine -1961) and seeing his friends, like Jack DeVault and Don Tallman.

I Remember:

Mike was full of great jokes and humor. He was a car nut and a good mechanic. I remember him at Marston and we all had a great time at Mission Bay (High School) Auto Shop.
