My good friend, Carolyn (Johnson) Jarufe CHS Class of 1960 passed away in Granbury, TX,
December, 2003 after a brave fight with breast¬Ýcancer. Carolyn and I met in the 4th grade at
Bay Park Elementary and kept in contact until the 70's. We found each other again (on
classmates.com) in 1999. She was living in Houston, but moved to Granbury in 2000 to be
near her sister, Judy.

Carolyn was a member of the Girl's Athletic Association, California Scholarship Federation,
Bowling Club, and marched with our Drill Team.
